My Description &
Thoughts: After
feeling the texture of this body balm, I thought it reminiscent of
of lip balm and/or cuticle cream. Because of that, I used it for
exactly those purposes! It is very rich and thick, like you would
expect lip balm to be. It works wonders on my lips and cuticles.
The ingredients are mostly organic and recognizable, which is
encouraging. I find this balm useful also for dry elbows, dry knees
and a dry tip of the nose. If the skin on your body is
exceptionally dry, I see this being a very effective “deep
conditioning” product.

environmental toxins to keep your skin healthy and radiant. With
more damage than ever coming from free radicals, antioxidants are
some of your best defenses against them. Luckily, this product has

watermelon extract further strengthens your skins’ protective

ethylhexylglycerin, vitamin A palmitate, vitamin E acetate,
tocopherol, phenoxyethanol, xanthan gum, caprylyl glycol, sodium
benzoate, potassium sorbate. organic sweet orange oil, patchouli
oil, sandalwood oil.” My Description
& Thoughts: For many
years I did without a moisturizer/serum after cleansing my face
because I thought that was the answer to helping keep oily skin
clean and oil free. This is the opposite of what I should’ve been
doing! “Oil Free” is NOT what you should be looking for with skin
care. The sebum and oil that your pores secrete is not in any way
related to plant based oils. Therefore, putting oil onto your face
should not be feared, as we have been lead to believe. Using a
cream, moisturizer or serum after cleansing is even more crucial to
those individuals who have an uneven complexion due to blemishes.
The organic, pure ingredients in this renewing cream heal and
pamper skin so that it has the potential to be its healthiest.
Making this change in my skin care regimen has been monumental is
keeping up skin that is even in moisture. This routine also helps
minimize breakouts. This product is fantastic, as it is hydrating
without being goopy, comprised of mostly organic ingredients, and
heals skin by way of plant based components.

Thoughts: This body cream is
intensely moisturizing and rich. A little bit of this cream goes a
long way. The lemon extract is the main scent that I notice as I
apply it. It creates such a wonderfully refreshing aroma and leaves
skin smelling clean and zesty. I like keeping this jar right
outside of my shower and apply it when my skin is still damp. The
drops of water left on your skin post-shower act as a vehicle for
the cream to spread easily onto skin. I love the list of
ingredients in this product and find them to create a lovely scent
all put together. My skin is plenty moisturized all day long after
I apply this body cream, unlike some less ingredient conscious body
lotions that leave skin thirsty, hours later.

*organic essential oils {Ruby Mint ingredients con’t: *organic
alkanet root, *organic beet root}

Organic.”
My Description
& Thoughts: Cardamom
was an entirely new scent & flavor for me to have in a
beauty product. In this lip balm, the cardamom, mint and tangerine
make a perfectly refreshing boost for your lips. I would classify
it as being a unisex flavor, as it is not overly flowery or fruity.
The mixture is rich enough so that I do not have to reapply it
often–it lasts for several hours. I couldn’t be more pleased with
this ingredient list. Entirely organic! Absolutely wonderful. The
quality of this product is tops and the ingredients chosen are
deeply moisturizing and nourishing to skin. This product makes me
excited to try Lulu’s other lip balm scent/flavor: ruby mint. This
is a fantastic go to in choosing an everyday lip balm since the
ingredients are reliable and the experience of wearing it is so
pleasant.
Lavender
& Clary Sage Hair Powder
“LAVENDER + CLARY
SAGE
The clean and
intoxicating aroma of lavender perfectly partnered with an
invigorating clary sage.
An all
organic, TALC-FREE hair powder for hair on days of unwash. Inspired
from our college days, this silky powder is perfect for on-the-go
styling and leaves your hair smelling as fresh as a day one wash.
Sprinkle a dime size amount of powder into your hands and rub
through the roots of your dry hair.
Ingredients:
*organic corn starch, white clay, baking soda,
*organic rice powder, *organic horsetail powder, *essential
oils
*USDA Organic & Oregon
Tilth Certified Organic.”
My Description
& Thoughts:
I am typically a girl who always washes my
hair every time I shower–and I shower once a day, with rare
exceptions. Thus, I do not often need a dry shampoo to keep the
roots of my hair fresh.
Having a
product like this enables me to skip washing my hair if I’m in a
hurry and my hair needs a quick refresh. I have an oily scalp that
gets even more oily in the summer months, when I am outside
exercising often. Even with that amount of “gunk” on my scalp, this
powder did a phenomenal job of making my hair look like it hasn’t
been so greasy in the first place.
This is the perfect product for a gym going gal to
have in her gym bag for a post-workout touchup.
I find it remarkable and exciting to come across
products that are organic in their entirety as well as highly
practical and effective. Lulu Organics has two winners here! I am
thoroughly impressed with this brand.
