About Pura Botanica:
“Pura Botanica was created “to bring the best of organic and sustainably harvested ingredients together in uniquely luxurious products that allow us to transcend the every day for a moment and experience bliss.”
It started with a mission. Founder, Christy Booth, a passionate world traveler, sought to amalgamate the secrets and delights she unearthed around the globe: the healing power of Dead Sea minerals, potent natural fragrances in Provençal markets, the savvy satchels of seasoned travelers, the charm of Chai Wallahs… In each, the inspiration was found for the diverse products that grace the Pura Botanica line. From the start, a purity of ingredients and deliveries was paramount. Pura Botanica’s use of organic and natural ingredients, found-in-nature fragrances and holistic formulations that elevate the experience without the use of potentially harmful ingredients has become a hallmark of its commitment to healthy, natural well-being.
Today, Pura Botanica includes an ever-widening line of personal care products and little luxuries – unexpected and exceptional products customers treasure for their ability to provide an unrivalled sensory escape while they complement and enhance an elegant lifestyle. The company was started in 2008 and is currently based in Lighthouse Point, FL.
“I am always amazed by the spectrum of ingredients and preparations that are indigenous to cultures around the world – and by the global ‘consciousness’ of sourcing close to the earth. Pura Botanica was created to replicate this… to bring the best of organic and sustainably harvested ingredients together in uniquely luxurious products that allow us to transcend the every day for a moment and experience bliss.””

My Description & Thoughts:
I found Pura Botanica’s sample packaging to be especially endearing (as seen in very top picture).
Most of the year, I’m not big on hand cream because I don’t like having hands that feel lotion-y. However, as the colder winter months approach, I reach for a hand cream often. My cuticles start to get dry and cracked, along with the skin in between my fingers. It’s important, though, for me to use a hand cream that soaks into skin nicely instead of sitting on top of skin.
The “Lend a Hand” creme smoother performs very well. It has a subtle, light fragrance to it and it moisturizes my driest skin with ease. These little sample packets are the most practical little guys to have in my purse for when my hands need a drink.
I’d deem the ingredients above average. Some brands (this one included) seek “natural” certifications versus “organic” certifications. Though this might be confusing, what I’ve come to know is that these organizations that certify products are looking for the similar things as those certifying products as “organic”: free of pesticides, no artificial colors, flavorings, and preservatives. So, all in all, certified natural is a good thing and a vast improvement from your typical hand cream at the drug store.
The ingredients that are not in bold (certified natural) look a bit suspect, quite frankly. I’d prefer to have all of aromatherapy benefits without the unrecognizable ingredients.
I’d recommend this to someone looking to get an effective hand cream that boasts some natural ingredients, but not to someone looking for an all organic hand cream.

In a warm bath, all is unlocked, capturing the sensation of being adrift in a sea of roses.
Ingredients: Andes Rose Salt, Atlantic Sea Salt, Epsom Salt, Rose Flowers, Geranium Oil, Rosewood Oil, Palmarosa Oil*, Ylang Ylang Oil, Rose Absolute, Lavender Oil, and Baking Soda in a 100% biodegradable soilon pouch. *Certified Organic
My Description & Thoughts:
I’m truly not a HUGE fan of taking baths. I am a shower girl & can’t remember the last time I took a bath. I soaked in a bath containing this salt on a special occasion to best gauge the product.
I don’t have much to compare it to since I am not a bath connoisseur. With one organic ingredient and several essential oils that work in combinations with the salts, I find this bath salt to be above average, but not tops. The rose, lavender, ylang ylang and geranium combine to make your bathing experience very relaxing and flowery. I found that aspect to be especially pleasant.
The bath left my skin soft, calmed, and fragrant. Maybe I should take baths more often! I really like this product in theory. In reality, I would like it to have all organic ingredients, especially since my entire body will be soaking in it for a significant period of time.
I’d recommend these bath salts to a woman looking for a unique, rosy bath experience via natural ingredients. You’ll certainly enjoy the aroma that it provides and how it makes skin feel.
